Care & Maintenance

Natural Rubberwood Care

• Dust the natural rubberwood surface regularly with a clean, soft microfiber cloth.
• Wipe gently in the direction of the wood grain.
• For light marks, use a minimally damp cloth and dry the surface immediately.
• Avoid soaking or exposing the wood to excessive moisture.
• Do not use abrasive pads, bleach, ammonia, or harsh chemical cleaners.
• Avoid applying furniture polish, wax, or oils unless specifically approved for the wood finish.

Acrylic Diffuser Care

• Remove accumulated dust using a clean, soft microfiber cloth.
• For fingerprints or light marks, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
• Dry using a separate microfiber cloth to prevent streaking.
• Avoid abrasive sponges, scouring pads, and rough cleaning materials.
• Do not use harsh solvents or aggressive chemical cleaners that could scratch or cloud the acrylic diffuser.

Integrated LED Maintenance

• Switch off the electrical supply before cleaning or inspecting the fixture.
• Allow the light to cool before handling its surfaces.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure to the acrylic diffuser.
• Never spray water or cleaning products directly onto the LED assembly or electrical components.
• If the integrated LED develops a fault, contact the supplier regarding its compatible replacement light source service.

General Maintenance and Safety

• Turn off the circuit breaker before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
• Keep the fixture in a dry indoor environment.
• Do not install the fixture in bathrooms, showers, or areas exposed to excessive moisture.
• Periodically inspect the visible mounting hardware for signs of looseness.
• Avoid disassembling the electrical components.
• Have installation, wiring repairs, and electrical servicing performed by a qualified electrician.

Important Environmental Considerations

Natural rubberwood is a natural material and should be protected from prolonged exposure to moisture, excessive heat, and direct environmental fluctuations.

Maintain a relatively stable indoor environment to help preserve the wood's appearance and finish.

Care Tip: Regular dusting and gentle cleaning will help preserve the natural rubberwood grain and maintain the clarity of the acrylic diffuser, keeping your Lucent Loft ceiling light looking refined over time.
